Joel Smith to UAT Victoria

Joel Smith (193 cm, Northeastern’13) inked a deal with Correcaminos UAT Victoria in the Mexican LNBP for the rest of the season. Smith’s last action also came in Mexico when he played for Rayos de Hermosillo during the summer of 2014 CIBACOPA. During that stay the American played in 32 games and picked up per game averages of 14.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.

The 2013/2014 season was the first in professional Basketball for Joel Smith and he spent it wearing the jersey of Atenas Cordoba in the Argentine LigaA. He played six games but after struggling to settle left with averages of 5.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
