Joe Alexander joins Banco di Sardegna

Joe Alexander (203 cm, West Virginia’08) has agreed to terms with Banco di Sardegna Sassari (Italy-Serie A) and will be joining them this 2015/16 season. Joe spent the 2014/15 preseason with the Denver Nuggets, then later signed with the Santa Cruz Warriors from the NBA D-League. He played 13 games for the Warriors and produced averages of 21.7 ppg and 8.0 rpg. In December 2014 Alexander headed to Europe, signing with Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv (Israel-Winner League). He played 15 games for them in the Euroleague and averaged 4.5 ppg. He also played 17 games in the Israeli league and posted averages of 7.8 ppg and 3.4 rpg.
