J’mison Morgan deals with Chongqing

Chongqing Flying Dragons (China, CBA) tabbed J’mison Morgan (211 cm, Baylor’13) to aid the team roster during this season. The American is taking his first professional post in both China and Asia and entering his second campaign as a professional player. Last season was his rookie campaign and he started his career with the North Dallas Vandals in the ABA before moving to SoyuzBasketUgol Shahtarsk (Ukraine, Higher League). He played nine games for Shahtarsk and averaged 4.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, as well as 1.6 blocks per game.

In his last season in college, J’mison Morgan played just one game for Baylor in an injury ravaged season and missed out the previous campaign entirely. In many ways he is getting his career back on track after a spell of injuries.
