Jesse Sanders joins Sydney

American point guard Jesse Sanders (190 cm, Liberty’12) will play with the Sydney Kings in Australia’s NBL during the 2013/2014 season after signing with the franchise. Sanders will head down under after recently wrapping up a stint with Italian Lege2 team Fileni BPA Jesi where he played a total of 25 times. During his time in Italy he averaged 9.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.

The 23-year old completed his senior year with Liberty (NCAA) in 2012 and during his final season in college he averaged 12.5ppg, 7.8rpg, and 1.2spg. Jesse Sanders also finished that senior year as the 3rd best assister in the league with an average of 8.0 assists per game.
