Jermaine Abraham signs with Once Caldas

Jermaine AbrahamOnce Caldas de Manizales (Colombia, DPB) has signed American Jermaine Abraham (202 cm, Elizabeth City’10) until the end of the season. The team also announced that it has released Taverius Wilkins (211 cm, Wilberforce’10) after the just a month in Colombia. Once Caldes will be Abraham’s third team of the season after he has played in Uruguay and the United States.

The player started the 2012-2013 season with Nacional in the Uruguayan LUB where he played 16 games and recorded 23.8ppg and topped the rebound averages for the league with 13.8ppg. He also played 3 Liga Sudamericana games before leaving Nacional in January; in those games he posted 19.7ppg and 10.0rpg.

24-year old forward Jermaine Abraham has also played 5 games with the Cincinnati Slam in the UBA this season. With the Slam he impressed again with his scoring by notching up 20.2 points per game and backed it up with 7.6 rebounds per game.
