Jeremis Smith now with Maccabi Rishon

Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion (Israel-Winner League) has added Jeremis Smith (203 cm, Georgia Tech’08) to their roster for the 2014-15 season. Smith had a busy 2013-14 season, playing for a few Latin American teams. He began the season playing for Fuerza Regia Monterrey (Mexico-LNBP) and averaged 15.4 ppg and 7.1 rpg in seven games. In November 2013 he moved to Atletico Aguada (Uruguay-LUB). He played five games for the club in the Liga Sudamericana and averaged 10.6 ppg and 8.8 rpg. He logged eight games for Aguada in the Liga Americas and there produced averages of 15.5 ppg and 7.1 rpg. Smith played 23 games in the domestic Uruguayan LUB and averaged 12.3 ppg and 8.5 rpg.

After that run, Jeremis signed with Fuerza Guinda de Nogales (Mexico-CIBACOPA) and there he averaged 13.5 ppg and 6.2 rpg in 13 games.
