Jerel McNeal to play in China

Jerel McNeal (191 cm, Marquette´09) will play in the Chinese Basketball Association this season after agreeing terms Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. The guard was released by NBA franchise the Utah Jazz earlier in the week but has been quick to find a new team for the season. The American started the2012/2013 season with the Toronto Raptors (NBA) but was moved out to the Bakersfield Jam in the D-League.

With the Jam Jerel McNeal played 44 games and managed impressive averages of 18.1 points and 5.5 assists. The 26-year old has also been on the roster at the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and the LA Clippers in the NBA, but he has also played in Italy and Belgium.
