Jeffrey Wherry added by Itzehoe

SC Itzehoe Eagles (Germany-ProB) is making some changes to its roster. It is replacing Italian-American Paolo Mancasola with rookie Jeffrey Wherry (175 cm, Stillman’14). This comes after Mancasola had played five games for the club. Both the team and the player parted ways amicably. Wherry is beginning his professional career with Itzehoe and will be coming in to reinforce the franchise’s backcourt. In 2013/14 Wherry played 28 games for Stillman in the NCAA2 and posted averages of 10.8 ppg and 2.8 apg. In four games in NCAA1 he averaged 12.5 ppg and 1.5 apg. One of his strengths is his ability to be a three-point shooting threat. In those four games he shot 43.3% from beyond the arc.
