Jeff Greer heads to Poitiers

Jeff Greer (196 cm, Rutgers’01) has been signed by Union Poitiers Basket 86 from France’s ProB league. Greer is an American player who also holds a passport from the Dominican Republic. He was a former member of the Dominican Republic National Team from 1998 to 2003 and 2009.

Greer played the 2012-13 season in the French ProA for Strasbourg IG. He managed to play in 38 games and hit averages of 6.2 ppg and 2.8 rpg. He helped his team reach the finals of both the French ProA and the French Leaders Cup in 2013.

In 2011-12 he played in the German Bundesliga for EnBW Ludwigsburg. He played in 27 games and averaged 8.6 ppg and 4.1 rpg.
