Jason Williams ties to Vichy

Jason Williams (197 cm, UTEP’06) has signed on the dotted line for Jean D’Arc Vichy in the French NM1 for the upcoming season. The forward played in Canada during the 2013/2014 campaign and wore the colors of the Halifax Rainmen. It was a good season for the player as he helped the Rainmen reach the NBL semi-final with his consistency on the court. The American played 39 games and impressed with averages of 18.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.

The 30-year old moved to Indios de San Francisco in the Dominican Republic LNB this season where he featured in three games and logged 9.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. Jason Williams has previous experience playing in Argentina, Italy, and Israel.
