Jason Smith to Mogi das Cruzes

Jason Smith (183 cm, Alabama-Huntsville’07) has agreed to terms with Brazilian NBB team Mogi das Cruzes/Helbor and is set to play for them for the 2013-14 season. The 30-year-old Smith began this season playing in Finland’s Dominos League for KFI. Before the move, Jason was able to play in 10 games for KFI and posted averages of 25.9 ppg and 7.3 apg.

He played the 2012-13 season for CAB Madeira from Portugal’s LPB. He played 25 games in the Portuguese league and averaged 16.1 ppg and 5.3 apg. He helped his team reach as far as the semifinals in the Portuguese league this 2013.
