Jason Kapono to be with Panathinaikos soon

Jason Kapono (201 cm, UCLA’03) has resolved his family situation and is now set to join Panathinaikos (Greece-A1) on Dec. 10th, it’s been reported. Kapono was set to arrive in Athens the first week in November, but it turns out his wife was having complications with her pregnancy and Kapono chose to stay with her until she was taken care of. Reports are that he’ll arrive in Athens on the 10th and will begin the process of getting familiar with the club. Panathinaikos cliched a spot in the Euroleague Top 16, so the timing is thought to be very good as it’s between the Euroleague regular season and the Top 16, giving him time to adjust.
