Jarvis Hayes signs with Sidigas Avellino

Former NBA swingman Jarvis Hayes (201 cm, Georgia’03) is on his way to play in Italy’s SerieA this 2013-14 season after signing with Sidigas Avellino. Hayes, an American, recently became naturalized citizen of Qatar and represented them in the 2013 FIBA Asia Championships as part of the Qatari National Team. He played six games for them in the competition and averaged 16.7 ppg and 6.7 rpg.

In the 2012-13 season he joined Elizur Ashkelon from Israel’s Winner league in February 2013. Hayed played 10 games in the Israeli league and averaged 19.5 ppg and 4.4 rpg.
