Jared Homan inks with Eskisehir Basket

Eskisehir Basket (Turkey-TBL) has landed Bulgarian-American big man Jared Homan (206 cm, Iowa State’05) for the 2014-15 season to reinforce their frontcourt. Homan spent his 2013-14 season playing for Russian club Spartak St. Petersburg (Russia-VTB). He played 10 games for them during their run in the Eurocup and was able to average 14.0 ppg and 8.1 rpg. Jared also logged a total of 21 games in the VTB United League and there he was able to post averages of 14.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg.

In 2012-13 he played for German powerhouse FC Bayern Muenchen (Germany-Bundesliga). He appeared in 40 games in the German league and averaged 9.1 ppg and 5.6 rpg.
