Janis Strelnieks retained by Brose Baskets

2015 German Bundesliga champions Brose Baskets Bamberg have made a step to keep part of their winning roster intact by re-signing Janis Strelnieks (191 cm) for the 2015/16 season. Janis is a 25-year-old Latvian player who joined Brose Baskets in 2014/15. He played 18 games for them during their run in the Eurocup and and averaged 12.6 ppg and 3.4 apg. He also logged 42 games in the domestic German league and there he managed to record averages of 10.8 ppg and 2.6 apg. Aside from winning the league championship Brose Baskets was also finalist in the German Bundesliga Cup in 2015.
