James Tyler to Atenas Montevideo

James Tyler (218 cm) has been added by Atletico Atenas Montevideo (LUB) in Uruguay for the current 2013/2014 season. Most recently the big man has been trying out with Al Hekmeh Beirut in Lebanon. His last game time was for Trotamundos de Carabobo (Venezuela, LPB) where he made ten appearances during the summer and added averages of 4.7 points and 5.7 rebounds.

The American center is coming off a good 2012/2013 season in the Bulgarian NBL playing for Chernomorets Burgas. James Tyler was in good form over his 28 games for the club as he became the second best scorer in the league with 18.8ppg. The 25-year old was also number one for assists with 13.5rpg and number one for blocks with 3.1bpg.
