James Southerland (203 cm, Syracuse’13 ) has signed with Limoges (France-ProA) for the rest of the season. The 24-year old American forward was recently waived by the Portland Trail Blazers, before he ending up in France. Southerland has NBA experience. Both with the New Orleans Pelicans and Charlotte Bobcats. In 3 games last season for the Pelicans he averaged 4.3ppg and 2.7rpg. However, the rest of the season he spent with in the D-League with the Los Angeles D-Fenders, where he averaged 14.7 ppg and 6.5 rpg in 42 games. Southerland has also played in Australia and will now make his debut in Europe.
