James Gist gets extension from Panathinaikos

James Gist (206 cm, Maryland’08) is set to remain with Panathinaikos Athens (Greece-A1) for two more seasons after inking a fresh contract extension with the club. Gist has truly found a team he can call home with the 2015 Gomelsky Cup finalists since being being traded to them back in 2012. So far, Gist has played solid for them in 2014/15. He played 20 games for them in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and averaged 9.4 ppg and 4.5 rpg. James also took to the court in 18 games in the domestic Greek league and there he produced averages of 11.1 ppg and 4.4 rpg.
