Lithuanian powerhouse B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas has landed former NBA sharpshooter James Anderson (198 cm, Oklahoma State’10) this 2014-15. Anderson was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round, 20th overall, in the 2010 NBA draft. He has played for the Houston Rockets, Phildelphia 76ers and two stints in the NBA D-League. Zalgiris will be James’ first team outside of the United States, officially marking the start of his international basketball career.

In 2013-14 James played 80 games for the Philadelphia 76ers and even saw some time as the team’s starting shooting guard. That season he averaged 10.2 ppg and 3.8 rpg, while making 115-of-351 shots from beyond the arc (32.8%).
