Jamel McLean signing with Bonn

Jamel McLean (in the middle)Jamel McLean (203 cm, Xavier’11) is signing with German Bundesliga team Telekom Baskets Bonn. The American will replace his countryman Patrick Ewing Jr. who left a while ago. Bonn had also signed swingman Marqus Blakely a few days ago but the former D-Leaguer did not pass the medical tests. Jamel McLean started the season in the Italian Legadue with Scafati leaving before the beginning of the season and then moved to Belgian team Telenet Oostende with whom he averaged 7ppg and 6.2rpg in the Belgian Ethias League. Last season Jamel McLean also played in Belgium, for Stella Artois Leuven Bears where he averaged 9.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg.
