Jamal Johnson decides on Al Ahli Jeddah

Jamal JohnsonJamal Johnson (201 cm, Clayton State’03) is heading to the Middle East for the first time after signing for Al Ahli Jeddah (Saudi Arabia, Premier League). The American had a busy 2013/2014 campaign. He started the season with Los Leones de Quilpue in the Chilean Liga Nacional and from 23 games he was the best scorer in the league with 25.1ppg, while he also added 10.0rpg for double-double figures. The forward later moved to Argentine TNA club Union de Santa Fe, where he played six games and logged 11.8 points and 5.8 boards per game.

To cap off the 2013/2014 term, Jamal Johnson headed back to Los Leones and featured in three Ligas Americas games and posted impressive numbers of 24.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. The 33-year old has also taken to the hardwood in Mexico, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Venezuela over the years.
