Jackson Vroman joins Capitanes de Arecibo

Jackson Vroman (208 cm, Iowa State’04) has agreed to a deal with the Capitanes de Arecibo from Puerto Rico’s BSN for the 2013-14 season. The big man is coming off a stint in China’s CBA, suiting up for the Jiangsu Nangang Dragons Nanjing. In 25 games Vroman managed to produce averages of 14.4 ppg and 10.4 rpg. He helped his club finish as the Chinese CBA regular season runner-up and also reach as far as the finals in the postseason.

In 2012-13 the California native appeared in 42 games for the Shandong Flaming Bulls (China-CBA). In that season he posted averages of 10.4 ppg and 9.1 rpg.
