Ivan Johnson added by Gipuzkoa

Gipuzkoa BC San Sebastian (Spain-Liga Endesa) has agreed to terms with NBA veteran Ivan Johnson (203 cm, CS San Bernandino’07) and will be bringing him to reinforce their roster for the upcoming season. Johnson is coming off an 18-game run in the Philippine PBA as the import for Talk n’ Text Tropang Texters for the Commissioner’s Cup. During the run he averaged a double-double with 26.8 ppg and 12.7 rpg. He helped his team capture the Commissioner’s Cup championship in 2015.

After his release from the Dallas Mavericks in 2014/5, Johnson signed with the Frisco Texas Legends of the NBA D-League. He played seven games for them and averaged 9.4 ppg and 4.6 rpg. He was released in February 2015.
