Houston Xperience to begin play in the ABA

Houston XperienceIndianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today confirmed that the Houston Xperience is set to begin play this season under the ownership of Kevin Williams, a native of Houston, Texas. “We’re very pleased that the Xperience will be playing this season,” stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. “Kevin has an excellent team and organization and it will be a great fit for our Southwest Division.”

Williams attended Forest Brook High School in Houston where he lettered in basketball and baseball, before attending Houston Tillotson College where he majored in Business Management. He has been very active in the Houston community coaching youth basketball. “I have always wanted to own a professional basketball team and am very thankful that the ABA has given me this wonderful opportunity to pursue and achieve my dreams,” stated Williams. “I’m excited about joining the ABA and looking forward to being very competitive. We’ve put together a great group of people and we know that we’ll make an impact on and off the court.”
