Haminn Quaintance released by Skallagrimur

Haminn QuaintanceAmerican Haminn Quaintance (201 cm, Kent State’08) has been released of his playing duties by his Icelandic team U.M.F. Skallagrimur Borganes. Quaintance averaged 20.0 ppg and 12.9 rpg but apparently that wasn’t enough as Skallagrimur is currently eighth in the Icelandic Express League standings with a 6-8 record.

Haminn Quaintance averaged 10.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg his senior year at Kent State which landed him an invitation to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. Since then he enjoyed stints in leagues such as the German BBL, the Israeli Premier League, and the NBA D-league, all before winding up in Iceland four months ago. After 12 games Skallagrimur thought it better to release Quaintance and send him home.
