Chinese talent Guo Ailun turns down Panathinaikos

Chinese talent Guo Ailun turns down PanathinaikosGuo Ailun stays in China, as luring a top talent away from the CBA appears to be a thing of difficulty. Guo, the youngest basketball player (18) to play in the 2012 London Olympics, was reportedly tempted to go, but “not so fast” said club and city officials.

His presence in the Chinese Basketball League is too important, where he serves as a role model and emerging superstar.

In addition, Ailun hardly will get his minutes in Greece, since Panathinaikos has a Lithuanian and an American at his position and he will be the third option.
