Greg Mays joins Hasharon

Greg Mays has put pen to paper on a deal to play for Maccabi Hod Hasharon (Israel, National league) through the 2015/2016 season. The American is embarking on his professional career and will spend his rookie season in Israel. Greg Mays just graduated at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay where the Chicago native had a very good 2014/2015 season to close his NCAA college career. During the season the athletic forward showed his class over 34 games as he averaged 12.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game.

During his time at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, Greg Mays improved season on the season over his four campaigns with the school.

Mayes attended a basketball combine in Las Vegas this summer (Court Side’s Eurochallenge) where a scout of Maccabi Hod Hasharon saw him play.
