Garrett Williamson cut by AEK Athens

AEK Athens (Greece-A1) has cut ties with American import Garrett Williamson (196 cm, St. Joseph’s’10) after 17 games this 2015. Garrett was not performing to the level that the team had expected. During his 17-game run with the Greek club, Williamson registered averages of 3.2 ppg and 1.0 rpg. He now hits free agency and will be looking for a new team to call home.

He fared better in the 2013/14 season when he played in the Canadian NBL for the London Lightning. In 51 games he was able to post solid averages of 18.1 ppg and 4.7 rpg.
