Filip Videnov signs with Azad

Filip Videnov (196 cm, Western Kentucky’03) is Asia bound this 2015 as he agrees to sign on with Azad University Tehran from Iran’s Superleague. Videnov is a Bulgarian player who has played for his country’s national team for 10 years, from 2002-2012. This will be the first time the player suits up for an Asian club. Azad currently has a 13-3 record in the Superleague and is in second place. Videnov is coming from BC Levski Sofia (Bulgaria-NBL). He played two games for them in the Adriatic league and averaged 21.5 ppg and 4.0 rpg. In his solitary game in the Bulgarian league he managed to score nine points and grab four boards.
