FIBA Asia Champions Cup Postponed

FIBA Asia Champions CupThe Final game of the 23rd FIBA Asia Champions Cup between Al Riyadi Beirut of Lebanon and Mahram of Iran, which was scheduled for Monday has been put off due to the prevalent situation in the Lebanese capital.

The delegation of Mahram will leave Beirut as planned on Monday evening.

“FIBA Asia will take a decision on holding the Final Game of the event very soon,” said FIBA Asia Secretary General Hagop Khajirian.

      Last Friday a car bomb blew up in a crowded area of Beirut killing three people, including “a top anti-Syrian intelligence chief”, injuring an estimated 80.
