Fernandez and San Emererio named bwin co-MVPs

Rudy Fernandez of Real Madrid, and Fernando San Emeterio of Caja Laboral Vitoria have been named bwin co-MVPs for Turkish Airlines Euroleague week 3. Both players had performation index ratings (Points + Rebounds + Assists + Steals + Blocks + Fouls Drawn) – (Missed Field Goals + Missed Free Throws + Turnovers + Shots Rejected + Fouls Committed) of 30.

Fernandez paced his club to 75:83 road win over Group A rival Fenerbahce Ulker this week, scoring 21 points and dishing off five assists. His PIR of 30 is the highest of his Euroleague career, earning him his first weekly MVP award.

San Emererio picked up his fifth MVP award in his career with a stellar performance against E7 Emporio Armani. His 18 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals helped Caja Laboral Vitoria pick up their first win in a stunning 85:95 come from behind victory on Armani’s home court.
