Fan Attacks a Player During Eurocup Game

The Eurocup game between Buducnost Voli Podgorica (Montenegro-Erste Liga) and Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (Turkey-TBL) was marred with violence when a fan attacks a player on the court.  The player’s teammate then quickly reacts and tackles the fan to floor. The skirmish is quickly broken up and the fan is escorted by security away from the court and the situation appears to be under control. Just before the fan is led far enough, a player tries to take a swing at him and emotions run high anew. Officials rush to prevent any further altercations and restore calm to the situation.
