Tel-Aviv eases into Israeli semi

Electra Tel-AvivMaccabi Electra Tel-Aviv booked a place in the semi-final of the Israeli league with an easy 94-65 win over an outclassed Galil Gilboa.

The powerhouse of Israeli Basketball secured a comfortable 3-1 series win to reach the final four and remain on course to reclaim the title shockingly lost to Maccabi Haifa last season. Electra Tel-Aviv led throughout and simply outplayed Gilboa with superior scoring, organised defence, and by dishing out 24 assists. Next up for the Juggernaut is a return to European action as the club gets ready to face off against CSKA Moscow in the Euroleague Final Four in Milan.

Alex Tyus led the Electra Tel-Aviv charge with a game high 18 points, while David Blu offered 17 points. Pacing the defeated Gilboa was Rick Jackson with 17 points and 8 rebounds, with Kenny Boynton adding 16 points.
