Edgar Sosa leaves Valladolid

Edgar Sosa (190 cm, Louisville’10) has returned to the USA after a very short stint with Blancos de Rueda Valladolid (Spain, ACB). The 25-year old point guard had signed a contract with Valladolid until March 2013, but has opted to return home after suffering an ankle injury. Dominican Republic born Sosa was only 2 games into his Valladolid career and had secured just 4.5 points per game.

Sosa has been injury plagued during the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons and he has found consistent court time hard to come by. During the 2010-2011 season he played 30 games with Angelico Biella (Italy, Serie A) and averaged 14.1ppg, 1.4rpg, and 3.0apg. Known as a promising player, Sosa will surely want to put his injury woes behind him and get his career back on track.

Edgar is one of the most talented PG I’ve seen, it’s a pitty that he can’t show all his skill due to so much injuries.
