Dwight Buycks now with Fujian QB

Dwight Buycks (191 cm, Marquette’11) will continue his professional career this 2015/16 with Fujian Quanzhou Bank (China-CBA). He began the 2014/15 season playing for Valencia Basket (Spain-Liga Endesa). Dwight played in three Euroleague games for them and averaged 12.0 ppg and 2.0 rpg. In five domestic Spanish league games, Buycks was able to post averages of 5.0 ppg and 1.0 rpg. He parted ways with the club in November 2014. A month later he headed to China and signed with the Tianjin Steel (China-CBA). He played 17 games and averaged 26.3 ppg and 5.2 rpg. Dwight did not stay long and went back to the USA to play for the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA D-League and there he posted averages of 18.2 ppg and 6.8 rpg. In April he was called up to the NBA by the Los Angeles Lakers, where he was able to play six games and average 8.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg.
