Doron Perkins signs with Olympiacos Pireus

Doron Perkins (188 cm, Santa Clara’05) is moving from Asia to Europe. He is signing with Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus from Greece’s A1 League after a stint in China’s CBA with the Foshan Long Lions. He played 14 games for the Lions and averaged 14.4 ppg and 6.8 apg. He transferred there in January 2013, after playing for BC Donetsk from Ukraine’s Superleague.

For Donetsk, Perkins played two games in the Eurocup and averaged 12.5 ppg and 7.5 apg. He also was part of the team when they competed in the VTB League and notched 4.2 ppg and 2.7 apg through six games. In the Ukrainian Superleague, he logged 10.9 ppg and 5.4 apg in 14 games.
