D’or Fischer joins Brose Baskets

Brose Baskets Bamberg from Germany’s Bundesliga has a new addition to their team for the 2013-14 season. They’ve picked up D’or Fischer (211 cm, West Virginia’05). The American big man also carries a passport from Trinidad and Tobago. He was on the roster of the Washington Wizards to start the season, but was released by the team.

In 2012-13 Fischer took to the floor for Ukraine’s BC Donetsk. In the sole Euroleague game he played for them he was able to score two points and take down seven rebounds. In six Eurocup games he averaged 10.3 ppg and 5.7 rpg. D’0r averaged 10.3 ppg and 6.2 rpg in 18 VTB United League games. Finally, in 38 Ukrainian Superleague games he hit averages of 11.0 ppg and 7.4 rpg.
