Dirk Bauermann Polish national team coach?

Dirk Bauermann
Dirk Bauermann is about to become the new head coach of the Polish national team, although the Polish basketball federation refuses to confirm anything (and the President even denied)

The German coach would lead Poland at the Eurobasket 2013 in Slovenia this summer.

Dirk Bauermann (1957) started this season with FC Bayern Muenchen in the German Bundesliga but in a surprise move, just days before the BBL was set to open their season, parted ways with the ambitious club from Bavaria. Bauermann was replaced by Bayern assistant coach Yannis Christopoulos, who was recently replaced himself by Serbian coach Svetislav Pesic.

Dirk Bauermann is a respected, well known and well travelled coach. He has coached clubs in Germany, Greece, Belgium and the USA (Fresno State-NCAA). Additionally, he has coached the German national teams at European and World Championships, as well as Olympic Games.
