Dijon Thompson returns to Novgorod

Dijon Thompson (201 cm, UCLA´05) has rejoined BC Nizhny Novgorod (Russia, PBL and VTB United League).The swingman represented Novgorod last season and impressed enough to be tabbed by the Russian team again. Over nine PBL games last season the American picked up the second best scoring averages in the league 15.6 points per game, while he also added 6.3 rebounds. Over seventeen VTB United games he offered numbers of 13.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Dijon Thompson has plenty of experience in Europe and has played in Germany, Israel and France. The 30-year old also has NBA experience and has been on the roster for several franchises, including the Phoenix Suns where he played ten games during the 2005/2006 season.
