Devin Green signs with Charleroi

Devin GreenDevin Green (201 cm, Hampton’05) has signed with Belgian team Belgacom Spirou Charleroi. The experienced American swingman and former NBA player was recently released by Lukoil Academic Sofia (Bulgaria, NBL) after joining the team at the start of the 2012-2013 season. Green has had a varied career, and has played in many countries, including numerous stints in or around the NBA. During the 2005-2006 season Green played with the Los Angeles Lakers (USA, NBA) where during his 27 games he posted 0.9ppg and 0.9rpg. Since then Devin Green has pre-seasoned with various NBA franchises, including The Miami Heat (2007), San Antonio Spurs (2008), Minnesota Timberwolves (2009), and the New York Knicks (2011). However, each time he has been shipped out before playing a game. While playing for Lukoil Academic Sofia he averaged 14.9ppg in the Bulgarian NBL, and 10.8ppg in six Eurocup games.
