Derwin Kitchen signed by Nancy

Derwin Kitchen (194 cm, Florida State’11) has agreed to terms with French club SLUC Nancy Basket Pro (France-Pro A) this 2015-16. The 29-year-old product of Florida State was originally slated to play for Openjobmetis Varese of the Italian Serie A this season, but has instead opted to take his game to the top French league instead.

In 2014-15 Derwin played for Hapoel Jerusalem (Israel-Winner League). He played nine games for them during their run in the Eurocup and was able to post averages of 10.3 ppg and 5.7 rpg. He also played two games for them in the Euroleague and there he averaged 12.5 ppg and 3.5 rpg. In the domestic Israeli league Kitchen logged 19 games and delivered averages of 7.4 ppg and 4.2 rpg.
