Deon Thompson joins Liaoning Hunters

Deon Thompson (203 cm, North Carolina’10) is making his way to Asia this 2014-15 season after signing a deal to play for the Liaoning Jeibao Hunters from China’s CBA. The 25-yea-old Thompson spent the 2013-14 season on the roster of popular German club, FC Bayern Muenchen. He played in 21 games for them in the Euroleague and posted averages of 7.3 ppg and 4.7 rpg. Deon played 37 games in the domestic German Bundesliga and there he was able to deliver averages of 11.4 ppg and 5.3 rpg. He helped Bayern Muenchen reach the German Bundesliga Cup semifinals and win the German Bundesliga championship in 2014.
