Deon Thompson joins Bayern Muenchen

Deon Thompson (203 cm, North Carolina’10) has been brought back by FC Bayern Muenchen (Germany-BBL) for the 2015/16 season. Thompson is a 26-year-old veteran who most recently played for Hapoel Jerusalem (Israel-Winner League) in 2014/15. He played 15 games for the Israeli club and produced averages of 12.8 ppg and 5.2 rpg. Deon moved there after starting off the season playing in China for the Liaoning Jeibao Hunters (CBA). In 50 games in the Chinese league Thompson delivered averages of 18.7 ppg and 8.3 rpg. He previously played for Bayern Muenchen back in the 2013/14 season.
