Demetric Shaw lands with Quilicura

Demetric Shaw (191 cm, Kent State’02) has agreed to terms with Chilean Liga National team Municipal Quilicura. The 35-year-old veteran from Texas has played a good number of seasons in Mexico, but most recently was under contract with the Metro Lightning from the USA’s UBL.

In 2011-12 Shaw was with Halcones UV Xalapa (LNPB) and in a dozen games was able to average 15.3 ppg and 3.7 apg. He later transferred to Barreteros de Zacatecas (Mexico-LNPB). Demetric logged eight games for them and posted averages of 14.3 ppg and 4.9 rpg.
