Delonte West to Fujian Quanzhou Bank

Former NBA guard Delonte West (192 cm, St. Joseph’s’04) is headed to China after signing with the Fujian Quanzhou Bank (CBA) for the 2013-14 season. West hit a tumultuous patch in his life and career after going through challenges such as being  homeless and diagnosed with bipolar disorder. This deal to play in China is an opportunity for him to get his career back in order.

He started the 2012-13 season as a member of the Dallas Mavericks, but moved to the D-League to play for the Frisco Texas Legends in January 2013. He managed to play in only eight games for them and averaged 10.3 ppg and 4.4 apg.
