Delonte Holland moves to Al Ahli Doha

Delonte Holland (201 cm, De Paul’04) will play in the Middle East this season after signing for Al Ahli Sports Club Doha (Qatar, Division 1). The forward has spent much of his career in South America and has already played six games for Bucaros Freskaleche (Colombia, Liga DirecTV) this season. Over those games the American logged numbers of 20.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Delonte Holland had a busy 2012/2013 season and represented three teams over the course of the campaign. He started the season with Halcones UV Xalapa in the Mexican LNBP before moving to Antranik Beirut (Lebanon-Division A). The 31-year old played six times for Beirut and averaged 25.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Next up for Delonte Holland was Venezuela in March, where he played three games for Toros de Aragua (LPB) with averages of 15.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
