DeJuan Wright on board!

Guard  DeJuan Wright who just finished his senior season at Florida International University, has decided that Court Side will represent him in his professional basketball career.

DeJuan is a very versatile player who can play multiple positions on the floor especially on the defensive end. Despite only standing 6’4 (193 cm), DeJuan was the one of the best perimeter rebounders in the nation (5th highest guard). During his senior season, he averaged 16.7 ppg and 7.9 rpg while shooting 51.2% from the 2pt and 39.2% behind the 3pt arc. DeJuan’s 40 inch vertical leap will help allow him to excel in the open court while his high basketball IQ and ability to create will assist his half court game.  FIU’s leader in points, rebounds, minutes and field goal percentage was also an All-Sun Belt award winner this season.

DeJuan’s work ethic and passion to win will result to him having a very prosperous professional basketball career. His leadership and belief in doing the right thing was shown worldwide on ESPN when he lead a protest with his teammates for the firing of his head coach, NBA legend Isiah Thomas. We look forward to big things from DeJuan in the future!
