David Laury goes pro with Belediye

David Laury (206 cm, Iona’15) has been brought in by Yesilgiresun Belediye (Turkey, TBL) for the upcoming 2015/2016 campaign. The American is entering his rookie season in professional hoops after leaving Iona this spring. David Laury has been a key component for the Lions over the last few seasons and enters his professional career after a good final season in the NCAA.

The skilful big man featured in 34 games for Iona during the 2014/2015 season and was in sensational form throughout the season. The center gathered double-double averages of 20.4 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, while also adding 2.7 assists per appearance. He will look to carry that kind of form to the Turkish TBL next season.
