David Downs to stay with Rhein Stars

Rhein Stars (Germany-Pro B) wants some consistency moving forward as it enters the German Pro B from the Regionaliga. They have opted to keep David Downs (188 cm, Seattle Pacific’14) for next season. David began his rookie season as a pro with MBC Mykolaiv from Ukraine’s Superleague. He posted averages of 14.3 ppg and 4.4 apg in 13 games. In January 2015 Downs transferred to the Rhein Stars Koeln (Regionaliga) and in 10 games delivered averages of 16.2 ppg and 5.3 apg.

In 2013/14, his senior year at Seattle Pacific, David registered averages of 20.4 ppg and 4.7 apg in 32 games.
