David Barlow leaves Murcia

David Barlow (205 cm, Metro State University’03) is now a free agent after parting ways with UCAM Murcia (Spain, ACB). The Australian has been with the team since the start of the 2011/2012 season but will now leave mid-way through his two year contract. After 33 games this season the forward had averaged 6.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. During the 2011/2012 campaign he played 34 games and averaged 8.1ppg and 4.9rpg.

David Barlow has previously played with CAI Zaragoza (Spain, LEB Gold) and has also enjoyed stints in the NBL in his native Australia. The 29-year old will now look for a new club before the 2013/2014 season get underway.
